The apartments were originally created in 1987 and were built on the basis that planning consent was given that the flats could only be occupied as holiday homes and cannot be used as permanent residences.

Harbour Lights is centrally located within Hugh Town and close to all the shops, restaurant, harbour and other amenities. This particular flat has a convenient location on the first floor with lounge and bedroom windows all facing south.

The flat at Harbour Lights has a distinct advantage of a direct beach access at the rear of the property through a communal library and washing/drying facilities (at a charge) in the main hallway.

The flat was completely refurbished in 2009 to a high standard.

The flat is approached through the main front door of Harbour Lights into:

The lounge d├ęcor was completely renewed in 2009, and new furniture, including a new corner leather sofa was purchased with a new dining table and seating for four people.
There is a modern digital television/with integrated DVD recorder, along with various books and games.
The room is tastefully decorated with a flavour of the Islands.

Kitchen Area

The kitchen was also refurbished in 2009 with white/light units, new sink and hob with electric oven, fridge freezer and microwave, and if fully equipped with crockery and cutlery and utensils for four people. Also new spotlighting was installed throughout the area.

Bedroom 1

With recess and high level wall cupboards with double doors and window seat. A fully fitted twin bedded room, fully equipped with bedding and bedside lamps.

Bedroom 2

A bedroom with bunk beds for two, with window seats, fully equipped with bedding and bedside lamps.

Bathroom

The bathroom was also refurbished with new bath and shower, vanity units, toilet and an electric immersion heater, towel rail, shaver socket and extractor fan. Also, the room is tiled throughout.

Electrical heating and water heating and cooking is all electrical, as there is no gas on the Islands. The heating consists of electric heaters with timers in all rooms which provide all the heat required for the apartment.

The water is heated by an immersion heater with independent control switches.
